Well, Rome certianly wasn't built in a day, as the saying goes. It's all about social networking; eventually people who normally follow another site as their primary news source will catch wind of the topics we're discussing here, and will participate in the discussions.
Over the next little while I think you'll notice a considerable increase in activity here.
I suggest the current members, those who have signed up, bring as many of their friends(those willing) and recruit from other sites like slashdot, american antigravity, and the user forums at yahoo. we need probably at least a hundred members.
Optimally, there won't be a moment in time where the potential new member decides if they're willing or not. What is more likely (and definitely the more attractive idea) is that they will take interest in the news articles, or forum discussions, or both , and actively involve themselves. Probobly the best way to recruit more members would be to find yourself in relevant topics of discussion on other like-minded forums, and link to the relevant topic here. Of course, as active as you are on the forum here, you probobly knew that
